It turned out that the event caterers also worked in the kitchen where we were doing our National Lampoon show. So we snuck in through the kitchen. To make us seem legit, we served ourselves, and with plate in hand, I ran directly into Andy Warhol.\"\n\nBill was tongue-tied and couldn't think of anything to say to the legendary artist, so he blurted out, \"I love your soup can!\" Warhol squinted as if to say, \"You don't belong here,\" and walked away. \"It was a magical moment,\" Bill recalled. Bill and Andy Warhol lived in the same neighborhood in New York, and the two forged a friendship over the years. \n\nWarhol eventually painted Bill Murray; few know the painting even exists, and its whereabouts are currently unknown. \"I could have bought it a couple years back for 50 grand,\" Bill said, \"But buying a painting of yourself? I dunno'… Now that soup can.
